Ok. You have activated WSDesk HelpDesk Plugin to streamline your support process. Now, let’s see how you can move ahead with the configuration pretty quickly.
WSDesk Quick Setup Wizard lets you get on with the configuration in simple, straightforward steps.
1. Set a Title for your Support Page
The title you create will be shown at the top of your support page. Also, here you can add an Email Address, which will be displayed to the recipient of your support response.
2. Customize your Support Form
Now, let’s add ticket fields to your support form.
By default three fields are already there:
- Email address
You can add new fields based on your preference and rearrange them accordingly.
3. Link your email address with WSDesk using IMAP
Once Email integration through IMAP is done, your emails will be magically converted to WSDesk support tickets. To understand more about configuring IMAP integration, read our article on the same.
If you want to use your Gmail ID for this purpose, you can also set up Google OAuth later from setting. To know more about configuring Google OAuth, click here.
4. Add Support Agents and Supervisors
And we are almost done!
Add unlimited Support Agents and Supervisors to manage all the emails that you just converted to tickets in the previous step. You can also manage their roles and responsibility here.
Your Help Desk is ready to go!
Since there will be some time left out of 5 minutes, you can easily submit your first ticket to see how things are working.
If you choose to skip the Wizard at any point, you can configure these settings manually later. Our detailed documentation should help you in such a case.
