Error: VALIDATION FAILURE : SITE ID IS WRONG

Customer:

We really tried everything that is in our power together with the German DHL team to fix the problem but couldn’t solve it. It would be really nice if you could help us out.

This is what the error message gets displayed:

Folgende Fehlermeldung, komischerweise liefert DHL ein falsches Passwort

ELEX Support:

The error message shows that VALIDATION  FAILURE: SITE ID IS WRONG

We request you to check your SITE ID.

Also, please make sure that the production key is checked if you are using production credentials.

Please refer the General Settings section of the product documentation to see how to configure the credentials.
