This is a troubleshooting document for one of the most common errors (Global Product Code) our customers face while generating shipment labels with ELEX WooCommerce DHL Express / eCommerce / Paket Shipping Plugin with Print Label.
With the help of our plugin, customers can show real-time rates and generate labels for their shipment. But sometimes, we receive this query from customers that they are not able to generate shipment in the WooCommerce order admin page. In these case, there are no rates available and they are getting the below error:
Error in parsing request XML:Error: Datatype error: In element 'GlobalProductCode' : Value 'undefined' does not match regular expression facet '([A-Z0-9])*'.. at line 66, column 58
The above error means there is no eligible DHL Express shipping service available to create the shipment. And this error occurs due to configuration issues or customers might have missed some steps while setting up our plugin. In this article, we will share the scenarios in which you will get this error.
Case 1:
Normally this error comes when you forget to enable the DHL Express shipping services on the Rate and Services section of our plugin, or you might have enabled the wrong services. So It’s very important to select services as per your business scope.
Case 2:
DHL provides negotiated rates for some account holders. If you have negotiated rates with DHL Express, then make sure to enable Show DHL Accounts Rate on the Rate and Services section of our plugin.
Case 3:
This can also happen when the customer has enabled other shipping services for checkout and wants to generate a label with DHL express. In this case, you need to make sure that you have enabled Show only chosen services on Rates & Services section and disable Enable Default Service for Label Generation on Label and tracking section on the WooCommerce DHL Express plugin settings page.
