To know how to generate a feed using this plugin in detail, refer to the article – How to set up ELEX WooCommerce Google Product Feed Plugin?
If you need to map the Product Price including tax, you need to configure the country and their tax rate on the WooCommerce’s Tax tab.
Go to your WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax.
From there, you can configure different tax rates such as Standard Rates, Reduced Rates, Test Rates, etc., for required countries as per your convenience.
Check an example:
Note: You can enter the priority of a tax rate if you are setting multiple tax rates in the same location.
Compound: If you enable this option, the entered rate will be applied to the actual price of the products.
Shipping: If you enable this option, the same rate will be applied to the shipping cost as well.
After entering these details, click Save changes.
Now, let us get back to the configuration with an example.
Consider the price of a product in the store is $100.
I have added a tax rate of 20% for the US under Standard rates.
In the plugin dashboard, I have chosen the United States as the country of sale while creating the feed.
While mapping the attributes, you can map Google Price with your product’s price including tax.
You can select the “Price Including Tax” option and proceed to the next step. After generating the feed, you can see the product price is added with the tax rate of your actual price.
The actual price of the selected product is $100, and the 20% tax rate of the actual price ($20) added along with the actual price on the feed, which is $120.
This is how you can map the Google Price attribute with your Product Price including tax.
