How to Solve the Issues Encountered After Uploading the Feed into Google Merchant Center?
This article intends to provide a solution to the customers who use ELEX WooCommerce Google Shopping Plugin for generating the product feed, and facing issues when uploading the feed into the Google Merchant Center account.
Check the cases and errors you may encounter when you upload the feed into the Merchant Center and the corresponding solution to the problems.
Case 1
When you upload the feed, a message can be displayed as “Invalid or missing required attribute: price”.
Solution
When you see this message, you can just search for the product with its ID ‘#1135’ in the feed, and make sure that the price is in the proper format. Another possibility could be the unavailability of the price. In that case, update the price.
Case 2
It may display ”Invalid or missing recommended attribute: description”.
Solution
If you see a message like this, search for the products with their IDs’ #1087’ and ‘#1135’, and add the Description for the attributes of these products.
Case 3
Displays a message as “Invalid price in attribute: price”.
Solution
To solve this problem, you can search for the product with its ID ‘#1135’ in the feed, and check whether the price is in proper format or update if the price is not available.
Case 4
Displays a message as ”Invalid GTIN value “.
Solution
Search for the product with its ID ‘#1087’ in the feed, and update the valid GTIN as per country selected while generating the feed.
By updating these changes in the WooCommerce products, which were included in the feed, the customer can easily upload the feed to Google Merchant Center.
