How to Enable the First Class Mail Shipping Services Option?

In this article, we will demonstrate displaying First-Class Mail shipping letters and flat rates on your WooCommerce store during checkout using the ELEX EasyPost (FedEx, UPS, Canada Post & USPS) Shipping & Label Printing Plugin for WooCommerce.

Please Note – Effective July 10th, 2023, USPS has discontinued the individual services of USPS Retail Ground, Parcel Select Ground, and USPS First-Class Package. These services have been consolidated into a single service, henceforth referred to as Ground Advantage.  For more details, check out this article.

What is USPS First-Class Mail service?

Envelopes and small lightweight items can be sent easily and affordably using First-Class Mail. There are two types of First-Class Mail service available i.e letter & parcel. For big First-Class Mail envelopes and parcels, the weight limit is 13 oz; for First-Class Mail letters, the weight limit is 3.5 oz.

You need to enable the First-Class Mail service along with the letter and flat option in the flat rate boxes section under the rates and services section to show the First-Class Mail letter or flat shipping rates.
