Can one plugin work for multi-site and sub-domain?

We want to purchase this plugin, but before purchasing, I would like to know if one plugin can work for multi-site and sub-domain. Does it?

For both multisite or sub-domain websites, you would need an only single license.

In the case of multi-site, install the plugin in the network site and enable it only in sub-site. The license will be activated only once for the instances of sub-sites, and the plugin update notification will appear for all the multi-sites.
