Set Up Bulk Discount Plugins for Your WooCommerce Using this Free Plugin – ELEX WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing and Discounts Free Plugin
You can easily download the ELEX WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing and Discounts plugin from its product page or the WordPress plugin repository.
After downloading the plugin, install and activate it in your WooCommerce dashboard.
After the activation of the plugin, go to WooCommerce -> Dynamic Pricing.
A new tab will be opened wherein you can find 2 types of discount rules. They are:
- Product Rules
- Category Rules
Let us check how you can set up bulk discounts with these 2 discount rules.
Set Up Bulk Discount with Product Rules
As the name suggests, this rule is used to apply discounts based on the products in your store. You can apply discounts to individual products by entering their name, a single category, and all products in the shopping cart of the customers.
Note: You can only apply discounts to a single category of products. If you need to apply discounts to multiple categories of products, you can go for Category Rules.
You can apply discounts based on the minimum and maximum range of quantity, price, and weight of the products. And there are 3 types of discounts available to you. You can apply a percentage discount, flat or fixed price discount.
As we are discussing bulk discounts, let us take the example of applying discounts to all products in the cart.

The name of the offer is ‘OFFER2020’. And I have set the minimum quantity of the products in the cart as 5 to be eligible for a 20% discount for all the products in the cart.
After saving the rule, the discount will reflect on the Cart page as in the below screenshot.
When the customer added 7 items to the cart, a 20% discount was applied to each product price.
The discount can be applied to specific customer roles, as well as with specific dates for the commencement and expiry of the discount.
Now let us check how to apply discounts on multiple product categories with Category Rules.
Set Up Bulk Discount with Category Rules
Click Discount Rules-> Category Rules -> Add New Rule.
Category Rule is similar to Product Rule, and the only difference is that you can apply a percentage, fixed, or flat price discount on multiple categories at a time. You can apply the discount based on the number of items, total units, weight, and price of the products.
Check out an example.
In this example, I have chosen the Albums, Clothing, Hoodies, and Music categories. If the price is a minimum of $10 of the products under those categories, they will be eligible for a fixed price discount of $5.
This will reflect on the Shop page and product page by setting $5 for all products that are worth a minimum of $5.

- Combinational Rules: This rule is applicable for two or more combinations of products in your store.
- Category Combinational Rules: This rule is similar to combinational rules. This discount is applicable to the combinations of two or more product categories.
- Cart Rules: This rule can be used to apply discounts for the products in the customers’ shopping cart.
- Buy and Get Free Offer (BOGO) Rules: This rule can be used to set free products and gifts when a customer purchases one or more products.
- Buy and Get Offer (BOGO) Category Rules: With this rule, when a user purchases one or more products under a specific category, they will get one or more products for free.
- Tag Rules: Using this rule, you can set discounts for products based on their tags.
- BOGO Tag Rules: You can choose the tags for applying the offer when the customer purchases one or more products that come under that specific tag and will get one or more products for free.
