What you’ll need?

To print return labels for your WooCommerce UPS Shipping, you need to have the following :

Step 1: Install the plugins and activate

The very first thing you need to do is install the plugins mentioned above and then activate the same. Firstly, you need to install the ELEX WooCommerce Australia Post Shipping Plugin with Print Label & Tracking plugin on your WooCommerce store and then install the ELEX WooCommerce Australia Post Return Label Add-On.

The next thing you need to do is configure the Add-on. Once you install the plugins, you can see the return add-on under WooCommerce.Navigate to Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Australia Post > Return Label OR Dashboard > Plugins > ELEX WooCommerce Australia Post Return Label Add-On > Settings > Return Label.

Step 2: Configure the Return Label add-on Settings.

Once you have successfully installed the plugin, you need to configure the settings correctly. Here are the settings

  • Return Label – Enable this checkbox to allow the Australia Post return label option to work.
  • Label Documents Layout – Here choose the document layout from the drop-down pick-up list in which you need to print the return label. You get 5 options here. They are:
    1. A4-1pp
    2. A4-2pp
    3. A4-1pp Landscape
    4. A4-2pp Landscape
    5. A6-1pp

Step 3: Provide the Return Address

Here you can choose the return address to which the shipment needs to be returned. If you want to opt to send the return goods to another address, you can also include the new address here.

Here when you choose the User Shipper Address, the plugin takes the default shipper address. If you want to choose another address to which you want to ship the return packages, then you can choose Add New Address. You will get the following options to fill in the new address as shown in the image below:

Here you can provide the name, address, company name, city, email address, state code, zip code, country, and phone number and save the changes.

Step 4: Print the Return Shipping labels

To print the shipping labels, you need to go to the WooCommerce order page and then choose the Australia Post order from the list. You can see the return option is only available when the shipment is generated for the required order.

Click Generate Packages  > Create Shipment.

You can also refer to the Label & Tracking options to understand how to generate labels for your shipments and print labels for the same. Once the shipment is created, you can go to the Australia Post Return Label section. You can see the following options as shown in the screenshot below:

Here choose the product and the respective quantity you want to return and then choose Australia Post shipping service from the drop-down. You can choose here the service of Australia Post or StarTrack accordingly. The Post Return and Express Post Return are available by default for all the return shipment. 

Remember the shipping label will be printed for each order separately even when the customers want to return more than one item of the same product, the shipping label will be printed for each individually. 

Once done, click Create Return Label.
