How to create a Google Shopping feed using the ELEX Google Shopping Plugin
You can start creating your product feed once the plugin has been installed and activated. Create a product feed by going to the WordPress Sidebar menu > ELEX Product Feed > Create Feed.
Generic settings
Under the start tab, enter a suitable project name.
Enter a product feed project description, or leave it blank if you want the project name to be used as the project description.
Choose the country from where you’ll be selling your products.
Include all variations of your WooCommerce products by enabling the include variations option.
If you activate Auto-set identifier exists, you can publish product feeds to Google Merchant Center without using unique product identifiers.
You have the option of selecting a default Google category for all of your product categories. All you have to do is enter a category, and a list of categories matching that category will appear.
To refresh the feed generated by Cron jobs, you can establish a refresh schedule. You can select to refresh the feed Daily at a certain time, Weekly at a set hour and on a specific day of the week when it was made, or Monthly at a set time and date when it was created.
A currency conversion rate can be specified. Before producing the product feed, the value you enter here will be multiplied by the existing product prices.
Map Category
At least one of your WooCommerce product categories must be mapped to a Google category that is available in the Google Taxonomy. In the General Settings of this plugin, you may select the Default Google product category. Simply start typing the required category in the Google Categories text box, and the relevant categories will populate automatically. With Google product categories, you may add and map any number of product categories. The corresponding checkbox will be auto-checked as the mapping categories are filled in.
When you start mapping product categories, you’ll see a list of all the product categories on your store, as well as an option to add the Google Product category. If a default category is chosen in the General Settings, all of the Google categories listed will be the same by default. You can change the Google category simply by entering it, and the other categories will appear on the list.
After selecting the relevant Google Product Category, check the checkboxes for the categories you want to include in your product feed. You can uncheck the checkbox next to any of the product categories that you don’t wish to list.
Map Product
You might not want to map all products in a category with Google Categories, or you might just need to map a few to offer on Google Shopping. You can specify the Default Google product category for mapping to individual products in this plugin. Simply begin typing the required items to be mapped with Google Categories, as well as the relevant Google Categories for mapping to the selected products, into the text box. While you type, the products in your store and related categories will be auto-filled in the appropriate boxes.
You can map as many products as you like to a Google Category. You can also create new rows and delete existing ones based on your needs.
Map Attributes
After you’ve mapped the product categories, you’ll need to map the qualities. The amount of attributes in this stage is determined by the generic parameters you chose for the country of sale. Each Google attribute must be mapped to a WooCommerce attribute. If you don’t have a WooCommerce attribute for a Google attribute with a constant value across all products, you can manually input a custom value by selecting the edit button next to the WooCommerce attribute field and typing in the required value.
The plugin allows you a lot of flexibility in terms of how you set up your data for the feed. With the conditions, it’s also simple to build up your data according to your store’s needs and generate a feed for your business.
You can even create your custom fields and add as many attribute fields as you want with the plugin. You can map the Google attribute to your WooCommerce attribute by clicking Add Field.
In Product settings, enter the GTIN, MPN, and Brand Name.
GTINs, Manufacturer Part Numbers (MPNs), and Brand Names are all unique product identifiers that Google uses to quickly identify the product and target adverts. As a result, users will have an easier time discovering your products.
Filtering Options
This tab allows you to filter products by their current Stock Quantity and Sold Quantities (number of products sold) to date. Select a condition from options such as Equal to, Greater than or Equal to, and Less than or Equal to, then a value to go with the condition. If the conditions meet the stock quantity and sold-quantity of the products, those products will be used to generate the feed.
If you want to exclude particular products from the feed, simply type in the product name, and it will only show you things that contain the words you entered in. This step makes the process of excluding products easier.
Finally, to build your product feed, click the Generate Feed button.
If the feed generation is successful, you will be taken to the Generated Product Feed tab, where all products will be updated.
Manage Feeds
The feed will appear in the Manage Feed tab once it has been created. You can also use the feed to do multiple operations based on your requirements. The Manage Feed tab displays information such as the feed name, the URL where the WooCommerce Google Product Feed is created and saved, the date the product feed was created, including the time stamp, the date the feed was modified, the refresh schedule, and a list of actions that can be performed on the product feed generated. Edit, Copy, Pause, Regenerate, Download, View, Show Report, and Delete are some of the options available.

Now that your feed is ready for use, you must set up a Google Merchant Center account, Select your Programmes, Add Feeds to Google Merchant Center, and Upload Feeds to your Google Merchant Center.
